If you are not having a traditional wedding ie in a church, and have opted for a civil ceremony maybe at the local registry office or at a local landmark or place of beauty in your area then you'll need to have a think a about the music. There will be no pipe organ churning the wedding classics out for you to walk down the aisle to so what is to be done? What is Civil Ceremony Music? Basically, civil ceremony music is any music you like, it could be anything which you fancy, maybe a special song or just something you feel would be fitting at a wedding. For a civil ceremony you will need to choose some music for when the guests are arriving and awaiting the bride to arrive, we suggest something classical or a longer piece of music, maybe something which will have a calming effect on the groom who will be waiting with the guests and no doubt nervous. Then there is the music for the bride to come down the isle to, this can be anything but again think about the pace of the walk and try to imagine the atmosphere. Lastly you will need to choose something for the bride and groom to leave to and for the guests to file out to; this is usually something uplifting akin to the joyous occasion.
